"The place to stay in this lovely city on the water. Worth every penny. The staff made accommodations for us have breakfast early. Highly recommend this place coming or going from Arlanda airport. "

"A charming country estate retreat. Host was very welcoming. The family room with maisonette 2nd bedroom and spacious bathroom was great. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide range of delicious meats, presumably from the pigs that are farmed here too. Just beware the premium prices of imported beers."

"Enjoyed the atmosphere of the old manor. Wife and I enjoyed walking the grounds, eating great food for dinner and breakfast and not having any electronic distractions in the room (they have hi-speed wifi if you just need to get online). Staff and service was fantastic as were the views. The dinner was prepared with many ingredients grown right on the property."

"The public areas are lovely - the space in front of the mansion, the breakfast/restaurant room with amazing views over the lake. It has lots of history, and the lobby is typically Swedish in its effortless cool. The room was a little less impressive. For the cost it was basically two adjoining conference rooms with very little in the way of comfort, and a very small, disappointingly dated bathroom. "I loved staying at the property- a great location in the middle of Östermalm but it was so quiet! I walked everywhere from the hotel including to and from the station. I really loved the theme of the hotel and especially Greta’s bistro where I had dinner one of the nights of my stay- the food was excellent and the staff exceptional! The only thing that was a little confusing was check in and I think that was down to the time I arrived- the reception area is a small space right next to a busy queue for the busy bar! But this wouldn’t be enough to detract from top marks. I’d stay here again any time!"
