"What a great place to stay. Front desk staff was Welcoming informative and helpful. We were allowed to check in early. Our cabin was quality clean and well So tan Ed. There was an upper balcony with a door, a lower deck on the front facing the afternoon sun. Bedrooms are up some tight stairs. Bed was firm but very comfortable. Shower had hot hot generous water. "Though a bit of a walk to town, it was comfortable and safe. We did have issue with the plumbing in the kitchen sink and it would have been nice to have instructions for how to use the gas appliances because we struggled with the stove and ended up accidentally turning off the hot water tank without realizing so no hot shower in the morning. Overall a nice place; would probably stay again. Of note: El Calafate has a whole bunch of friendly dogs that will follow you along for walks and hangout...

"Aguila Mora Aparts is a hidden gem in El Chalten. Superb service courtesy of Barbara, and when she was away, her two children. Clean, comfy, spacious apartments with well-equipped kitchens. It’s off the main road, but not far, which makes for a quieter and less touristy-feeling stay in El Chalten than most other options. If I come back to El Chalten this is absolutely where I’d stay.
