"Nice large rooms, good housekeeping, but average breakfast and service. Ferrara is great when you want to make trips in all directions: Ravenna, Bologna, Mantua, Padua, Vicenza, even Venice."

"We weren't allowed to use the pool, hot tub or sauna, priority guven to a wedding reception. Some mosquitoes were aound and Japanese beetles. Breakfast was good. Staff friendly. Villa was nice."

"An idyllic place - set in countryside surrounded by a nice garden, and woods, yet close to the village and equidistant to city and coast. Lovely old farm building. Only marred because the main highway is fairly close and a bit noisy. Best bit - fantastic dinner, all home made (I think everything from the bread to the cakes are home made here, special note to the jam!) Breakfast on the patio perfect. If I were being picky I'd mention that the rooms corridor is a bit noisy - as an old building...
