"Fabulous gem of a hotel. Friendly staff who made us feel so welcome and could do enough to help, superb breakfast with so much choice, and comfortable, super clean, quiet rooms. Add to that the fact that it’s in a superb location, less than a minute’s walk to the Castello Estense and the main square. Definitely recommended. "

"Beautiful, modern and really well-designed rooms. Loved our view of Castello Estense and that we could easily walk to all sights. Breakfast was a very generous and delicious selection. Staff very friendly and helpful. It'd have been nice to have free luggage storage, like in most other hotels - but, admittedly, the paid lockers were another example of clever design. Will definitely be back next time we're in Ferrara and will recommend to others!"

The family is warm and caring and makes my trip so much more enjoyable as I sit in their backyard amongst fields of agricultural pursuits with wheat and other products in the process of growing, the sounds of songbirds and the neighboring roosters which did not make any sound thank God last night or this morning along with the hen add to the wonderful ambience. "The situation at Cannevie is superb, amidst lakes. It is very near Pomposa and convenient for Ravenna. Bedroom was excellent: comfortable and the breakfast buffet also extremely good. The (fish) restaurant is superb. I would be delighted to return. It is all very tranquil."
