"Room is generally OK, with bright windows. Would have been a great stay if not for the extremely poor Wi-fi. Most of the time there is no signal, resulting in dropped connections. In fact one of the guests in another room had to check out and move to another hotel in order to get a proper wifi for his work. That is a shame."

"The hotel is in a very good position, near to the jetty and all local eateries. Our room was great with partial sea view and view over the trees complete with monkeys. The room was comfortable and the balcony nice. Best of all the staff were wonderful from reception to catering to cleaning - all treated us well. My only gripes are that the hotel on the whole was only superficially clean and some of the hot food was less than hot but having said thatI would recommend the Orient Star."

"Choose to stay at Casuarina because I wanted to be in a quieter area. Location is also convenient to my needs having to drive out to another town in a daily basis. I have stayed here several times. Room is a little worn out. Bathroom floor needs a good scrub on the grouts."
