"Whenever I have a trip in Halifax I always pick the Barrington Hotel. The staff are always so friendly and helpful. I like how close everything is to the hotel. The pedway is also a great bonus especially for the last trip I had. Didn't even take one step outdoors, between the attatched restaurant and the pedway which was wonderful because of the rainstorm outside! Will definitely be coming back in the future!"

"Conveniently located downtown. The staff here were excellent- the first room i was in smelled alot like it had been smoked in. One of the housekeeping staff, Janice, happened to be there and assisted me immediately to a new room. It was no hassle at all. This was also one of the quietest hotels ive ever stayed in. Thank you for the hospitality! "

"We booked our rooms through Expedia, unfortunately not told the pool was closed for renovation. Also, there is a tremendous amount of construction in downtown Halifax - many road closures."

"The heat in 313 was out of control. We barely slept because the room was so hot. The fan was turned on high and we turned the temperature to 15 degrees but it felt like 28 degrees. "
