"It was an adventure finding Belmesnil at night without GPS signal. We checked in late after resolving a minor confusion with our reservation. Found out that we had the entire chateau to ourselves for the night. My wife was afraid of ghosts but if there were any at Belmesnil, they were of the most welcoming and considerate kind. "The smallest 5-star hotel in Europe! My friend and I checked in during the off-season for one night. The staff was so friendly and accommodating! The owner gave us personalized attention and was very helpful. The location is convenient to Mont Saint Michel: just a five-minute drive to the parking lot to catch the shuttle bus. Highly recommend this hotel if you want to treat yourself."

"We really enjoyed our stay at La Ferme. The grounds and the hotel itself are stunning. Good location... easy walking distance to town. Room was beautiful, we enjoyed the steam shower. The one thing that could be slightly improved for such a highly rated hotel was the service. The staff was very nice but it took 2 phone calls + 1 trip to the front desk to get a yoga mat in our room (the gym and pool are closed for renovations... annoying). No slippers in the room unless you request them. Only one...

"Charming little house that you can never imagine houses as many rooms as it does. Our room was on the top floor and accessible by elevator (thank god), since stairs were steep and narrow. It was spacious, bright and clean with modern amenities. A couple of quirks I will mention as warning for others. The hotel closes at 9 pm and if you arrive later you will find the doors locked and lights off. We finally figured out the emergency line for the hotel and called them, but we did have about 30...
