"This is the best hotel we have ever been to. It is designed, built, and operated by the owner JC Espinoza, an accomplished architect for his clients. The view is simply phenomenal overlooking volcano Masaya which had a minor eruption on Dec 22, 2024. The hotel also overlooks lake Masaya, an old volcano crater. "The place is permanently closed. Expedia is a band of idiots because they refuse to refund my money after establishing that the place is permanently closed. I could not stay there so why are you asking me to rate the place. It’s closed down forever. I had to contact American Express to get my refund because Expedia is being so moronic about this. Do not use Expedia either as they are idiots when it comes to problems like this. "

"Sublimely beautiful. Peaceful. Pleasant with the most attentive staff. Don't the picture fool you. It's even better than the picture. This hotel is a work of art.
