"Wonderful, restored art deco hotel with standard amenities and wonderful staff. Special thanks to Paolo for all his help in arranging transport to Tofo given the political protests. FYI, the hotel is some distance from the main town and ATMs - perhaps 30 minute walk. But the main boat tour operators to Bazaruto will pick you up on the beach in front of the hotel."

"Very nice hotel - with friendly staff. Clean, compact room. Food was good, especially the pizzas. Hot items at the breakfast buffet were cold - could have been kept hot! You can walk for 5 minutes to the park where there is a boardwalk and playground alongside the river/lake and a bar to have a drink overlooking the water. "

"the Flamingo club room was very nice spacious and comfortable though no mini bar. Overall I love this place and always go back despite any negative experiences Check in was terrible. that reception no idea what is an online booking so i had to give her my phone with booking confirmation not she even understood that. I specifically requested to check in early as I has an event starting at 1pm at the hotel and i need to shower and dress for event. the receptionist instead of checking of a room is available first gave me a lecture how early check ins aren't allowed, but will check with her supervisor, which is what she ought to have done in the first place instead of making up her own responses."
