"Very good stay.. near the road but rm number 3 that time got road works and it was very noisy too early in the morning.. but not the hotels fault i suppose"

"The room was lovely, clean and sunny with a little veranda that you could get a bit of fresh air. The beds were comfortable and decorated to a high standard. It will be great when the restaurant is open. We have no hestitation to stay again. Thank you. (The only thing to have improved the room is to repaint the bathroom ceiling as the paint is peeling off. We had an iron but no ironing board)."

"Really impressed with this motel. Close to everything, easy check in and parking, spacious clean room and really friendly staff. Basic breakfast included was so convenient. I thought it would be noisy but with the door shut I didn’t hear any road traffic at all. Would stay here again for sure. "

"I cannot say enough good about this place! Wonderful service, comfortable room with private bath/shower, great breakfast buffet (extra), bar, & restaurant (reserve your dining time early). Plenty of free parking. Our room looked out directly at the volcano with a sliding door walk out patio. Also, great location. We had planned to leave a vehicle at each end of the Tongariro Alpine Crossing but they counseled us that there is a 4 hr time limit after which you are likely to get towed, so we bought a round trip shuttle. Good to have the heads up!"
