"I was here previously, decided to come for a 20 day stay to recharge.. They really let the place go downhill in every way. I felt like I was doing a spotting job rather than having a vacation especially the first week.simple things like painting rusted things all over the island. Not clearing garbage that washes onto the beach, which I and other guests would put up high on the beach figuring they did a walk around daily. No, same garbage was not even noticed because the management doesn't care....

"Beautiful garden entrance. Very friendly and welcoming host. Extremely clean and well presented home. Host was very accommodating , helpful and friendly. Suggested good dining / eating places and public transport to get around. Breakfast served was fantastic and the coffee was great. Rooms clean and great air con and shower/ toilet. Lots of privacy and plenty of information supplied about local places of interest. We enjoyed our 2 nights very much ."

"I was very dissatisfied with both the Ukulhas Beach Inn and Expedia. I will never use Expedia again as long as I live. The property falsely advertised many things about their hotel that simply were not true. They said the bed was a king size bed and it wasn't even a queen. It was a full or double size bed. The hotel also advertised they had a gym and they didn't. There was a gym on the island but had been closed due to covid 19 for many months. They show a larger menu for breakfast items...

"The place was very pleasant . Staff are friendly and always extend a chance to make experience better . But you should plan and book ahead , before arriving , some of the experience because they are filled fast . Beautiful views , can’t be the only 15 minutes to the Island straight from Airport . "

"We stayed in hideaway from 22/4/24 till 26/4/24.It’s a little disappointing when you go to a high rating place like this and have the following issues arise: 1.) after all of what happened below, we went to speak to the manager, and he told us to come at 6:30 am before we left to meet with the other manager. However there was no manager on the island at 6:30am 2.) we paid for half board and ended up paying around $7.5 for tap water every time we had a meal when you assume that it’s included for...

"Our best vacations ever! The hotel was incredible, with many activities do have fun. The food was super good and the staff was the kindest and most friendly we have ever met in a hotel. We spend our honeymoon here and the extras we got for this were super cute, specially the couples massage. The food was super tasty and to be honest this was quite surprising as “all inclusive” packages then to be quite average, but in this hotel every detail is a different level, and food was just amazing. The staff … dont know even where to start… they were just so nice, helpful, super polite and friendly… we really felt super sad to have leave the hotel and all the amazing people that contributed to our best holidays ever. We cannot wait to be back! Thank you Kandima for being part of these amazing memories "

Way beyond expectation.

"Didn't expect much for just one night in Male, but this hotel went beyond my expectation. The staff is very friendly. They offer free pickup and dropoff services from/to airport (they also help contact the resort hotels to confirm seaplane schedule, etc). Most impressive thing - the staff personally lead us to the room on 8th floor, and then found that the room key has some problem. In order not to let us wait for too long, he didn't wait to take the elevator, but walked down the stairs all the way to the first floor. The room is simple but clean and comfortable. The breakfast was also very delicious."
