"We had such a memorable honeymoon at this stunning resort, full of extremely kind staff who go out of their way to make you feel at home and comfortable. My wife lost her wedding ring one evening and the entire resort staff - from our main host, Kunal, to the room maintenance team and the security manager - went out of their way to help us find the ring, and to our utmost surprise and happiness, the staff actually succeeded in finding the ring the next day. "Movenpick is an amazing resort! I spent a week there with my wife and two children ages 13 and 11. We stayed in a sunrise overwater villa with pool. This was our first trip to Maldives and it did not disappoint. The overwater villa is everything we had imagined. It had a glass floor when you walk in that looks through to crystal clear water below. There is a glass window in front of you looking out to the pool. There is a massive bathroom to the left with a shower that has the ocean next to it....

"Property is great, although very large. You will do a lot of walking! Water villa with private pool was fantastic, truly special. Food and drinks not bad, but I wouldn't class as 5-star. My main issues were with staffing. The resort is clearly way under-staffed. Some of the staff were wonderful - they were mostly the foreign workers. Some of the staff were down-right awful - they were mostly locals. Large bars usually had 1 bartender and 2 servers, for about 50 people, sometimes more. We...
