"It was distressing to look out of our room window and look down at the ramshackle tin roofs of a slum and see the inhabitants go about their daily lives right next to our 5 star hotel. This poor community clearly needs help. The wealthy 5 star hotels could surely pool their resources to construct a safe building and clear the unsafe precarious buildings. "

"The staff are responsive, hospitable and helpful. It was hygienic with good upkeep. We were able to use most facilities like the gym and pool and enjoyed the breakfast buffet. All in all, it was exactly what we expected and then some. "

"Fantastic stay at the Leela. 4 days arriving at 2am after an 21 hour travel day. The hotel picked us up easy check in and the room was great. Cool and clean with a large bed. The staff were very friendly and great. They helped us book places and were beyond happy at all times. "

"The hotel is very nice but the streets around the hotel are disaster. I went for a walk and after 3 minutes I returned to the hotel. The hotel is attached to a mall which is the only place I felt ok to be. So I spent 6 days at the hotel but I was there for business and that was fine"

Abinav was also awesome, The hotel lobby was beautifully decorated and the ambience was exhilarating. The dining area and staff were welcoming and breakfast was exceptional. We will definitely stay at Taj Lands in Bandra East."
