"The hotel is located in an ideal location for great walks in the forest and lakeside. It’s clean and well appointed. Would stay there again but would not fall for the front desk trick! Upon checking in, I asked the reception desk woman if the breakfast was included; she checked our reservation and confirmed breakfast was indeed included. "The accommodation itself was lovely, easy check in. Peaceful and very secluded, perfect location for a quiet stay. We drove for 7hrs from the UK, with this as an overnight stop. We had intended to eat at the hotel restaurant upon arrival, only to be told we couldn't as the chef didn't have enough stock to cater for two extra covers! So after an already long day of driving we had to get back in the car and head to the local town in order to have dinner! Rather disappointing."

"This hotel is superbe..in the middle of pines and at the end of a small peninsula. Quiet, clean, with real nice staff. The food is good and the restaurant, (inside or outside..to choice,) opens to a lovely vue of the tiny Harbor. This place is perfect to rest, read and walk around the beach. A bit expensive but it's worth a 2 or 3 days stay... During the Summer à small boat goes back and forth to the lovely Village of Le Croisic for more activité, restaurants and shopping. Maisons du Monde Hôtel & Suites - Nantes

"Hotel du Monde staff were very helpful on arrival. Our apartment was a 5min walk from the centre,so there was easy access to places for eating. Our apartment was in a beautiful old building and it was stunning to walk into.We had an equipped small kitchen, small living space with a terrace. The bedroom boasted a beautiful 4 poster bed with tv and a roomy en suite with a power shower. Toiletries were complimentary and smelt delicious! We returned to the main hotel the next morning for breakfast. The breakfast room was beautifully decorated and comfortable. Staff were very friendly as they explained the breakfast food,which was the most varied and delicious spread ive seen in a hotel. There was a vast choice of cereals,yogurts ,breads,pastries or cooked food ,and teas,coffees and juices. Everything was just perfect. We only had one night in Nantes but we would love to return to see more of this beautiful city and of course,stay longer in Hotel du Monde. 5🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟"
