"Two things: 1) When I arrived on the night of the 5th the front desk had no info about my booking and gave a room I did not want because the hotel was almost full! 2) Since I booked online from the US, when I requested my sign out bill they front desk was unable to as I was told that since I booked in the US they couldn’t give me any bill. They were so unprofessional! I literally left in anger !"

"Limited internet coverage: it was only on the ground floor and 1st floor, there was no internet in the rooms. The staff were good."

"Major problem: dirty (brown!) water flowing in the sink and the shower. When reported to Hotel Management, they only said that “the hotel is not responsible”, that “I should just wait for the water to clear”. This happened 4 days out of my 9-day stay. Shocked and disappointed that the Hotel Management is not acknowledging the health risks for its customers. I sent an email to the owner, Mme Françoise Puene (Mamy) Nyanga. She did not respond. Awesome place

"Amazing small hotel in the mimboman neighborhood. Though a little out of the usual business district i was amazingly surprised by the quality of services and comfort. They staff was one of the best in a system where customer service is almost nonexistent. "

"The description of the hotel on Expedia DID NOT SAY IT IS SO FAR OUT OF TOWN THAT TAXIS WONT EVEN COME HERE. This place is like Hotel California you can check in but u can never leave. It was like a prison. Leaving to go anywhere is an ordeal that requires finding a taxi long in advance. How this place doesn't offer a car service is ridiculous. It takes 45 mins to get into town. I was told it would take 3 hours to get to the airport in traffic (it took 1.5 hrs in no traffic at 5am). To make matters worse ordering a pizza took over an hour on a Sunday afternoon and when checking out their credit card reader didn't even work and they don't even have an ATM. The place is clean, the staff is friendly and helpful but what a God forsaken location. Never again. "
