"Once this is fixed up and (hopefully) back as a dive/tour operator i would give even higher grades. It has a bit of a patinated feel to it, i.e not new and certainly a few dings and dents but if you don't mind sharing a bath room the place has a certain charm. It is close to a number of tour operators so it can be very well located. A bit far to walk to downtown...."

"The quiet, friendly place has only 6 rooms, so there is no tourist crowd. The owner will make you breakfast that you can enjoy in the garden area. You can ask them to make dinner too, they arrange transport to downtown area or trips around the island. You can rent kayaks and launch it front of the house, where you can also go snorkeling. "Hotel is well organized, staff very helpful. My room was spacious, very clean and quite comfortable, with a nice bay view. Not so pleasant was the noise from air condition comig from a roof beneath my balcony. Breakfast was O.K., though in Europe a buffet offers usually better choice. I personally appreciated lthe large and nice swimming-pool. Good news also is that Palasia is in walking distance to shops and restaurants and other places, e.g. Etpison Museum, Post-Office, and a public bus stop...

"Loved the large room and the separate tub and walk in shower. Breakfast was included, they were next door to a great Spa (I recommend Irene) and they had a restaurant/bar attached. Perfect!"

"The pool was very enjoyable especially at night and the breakfast buffet gave us western and Asian options which was very interesting. The facilities were very clean and up to date. My only concern related to the lack of elevators for the second level. We had heavy dive bags, and it was a challenge getting everything up and down to our room. This is the best place to stay in Palau, and we would return."
