"I did wrote to you about before,you dont read previous notes. I left this accomodotion because of that problems with previous owners.I wrote to you about this as well -you dont read it either. You recommending something what doesnt exist officially,causing a lots of trouble for guests and staff.Guests like me leaving hotel with disappointment. Who is going to recompansate a money i lost? Thats a question what I am looking for?? and answer...

"They don’t provide any amenities shampoo drinking water and all other things you need to manage by yourself, then what’s the point of staying in this type of hotel and pay them in dollars."

"The bathroom was dirty and not cared properly. I had to buy toilet-bowl cleaner to whiten the bowl.Hot water was so-so, either got it too cold or too hot The bathroom was badly done - when you take a shower the water splashes all over where the toilet and sink are. Judging by the poor breakfast , which I had only 4 times in my 2 weeks stay, I never had any meals at the hotel. Around the hotel there are reasonably priced restaurants for a good meal. "I really enjoyed spending time at this hotel. The staff are very welcoming and wonderful people to be around. The staff made sure that I had a shuttle to go around town and a safe way to get there, had a secure place to store the remaining luggage, and they made delicious food for breakfast and at the restaurant. I would highly recommend to stay at the Stella Maris Lodge."

Excellent hotel with best rooftop restaurant

"I stayed here prior to a Mt. Kilimanjaro climb and it seemed to be the nicest hotel in downtown area. It was very clean, the views of Mt. Kili were SPECTACULAR, the staff was so very kind and helpful. The best part is the rooftop restaurant. The surrounding downtown area doesn’t have many good food options so this was a life saver. Not only were the views of Mt. Kili beautiful but the menu is very extensive with delicious food! I normally avoid hotel restaurants when traveling but this one is an exception - why go elsewhere when you have the best where you are? "

Perfect post-Kilimanjaro retreat

"Absolutely love this property and it was EXACTLY what i needed after a week long trek up Kilimanjaro. Very relaxing atmosphere with a health-vibe. Masseuse on premises made it very convenient. The food menu at restaurant was also very good. Location is very close to Moshi town (about 15min drive - though if you stay here, you really dont need to go into town - Moshi is very disappointing). Only con was the very spotty wifi. "
