"A gracious lodge in a spectacular setting. We were welcomed warmly and helped to take our cases to our lodge. The lodge was smallish and basic but in a lovely spot surrounded by wildlife. Food was excellent, and we loved afternoon snacks on the terrace. The pool was beautifully sited and quiet. Darius led a very enjoyable and informative sundowner walk. Only a tiny criticism - the service in the restaurant was sometimes very slow. Overall our stay was a delight."

"Quirky, delightful motel in the middle of nowhere but able to provide nearly all modern comforts. Only thing missing was a tv in the room but I didn't miss it. Restaurant was excellent. Beds were very hard. Good hot shower. Having visited Ai Ais, I was very glad we were staying at the Roadhouse."

"Wir haben eine Nacht in der Unterkunft verbracht, um am nächsten Tag von dort in den KTP zu fahren. Die Grenze zu Südafrika ist nur 15 km entfernt. Wir haben uns sehr willkommen und wohl gefühlt. "This is a wonderful place with breathtaking scenery and views. I could have spent days just looking and enjoying the peace and quiet. The breakfast and dinner was very tasty and they even considered that we are vegan. Their reforestation project is grandiose as well as what they do with the income. We enjoyed the time very much."
