"Quirky, delightful motel in the middle of nowhere but able to provide nearly all modern comforts. Only thing missing was a tv in the room but I didn't miss it. Restaurant was excellent. Beds were very hard. Good hot shower. Having visited Ai Ais, I was very glad we were staying at the Roadhouse."

The farm is huge and has an abundance of both domestic and wild animals. We learned so much on our drives through the farm! "This is a wonderful place with breathtaking scenery and views. I could have spent days just looking and enjoying the peace and quiet. The breakfast and dinner was very tasty and they even considered that we are vegan. Their reforestation project is grandiose as well as what they do with the income. We enjoyed the time very much."

"The structure is perfect, and people were lovely. Plenty of hiking trails available and some to do with mountain bike as well (available to rent at reception). The facilities were very good, very nice food at the restaurant with plenty of vegan options, which was a pleasant surprise! Only thing, the lack of electricity at the camping site (which is clearly stated, so we knew about it in advance). Otherwise I would have given 5 stars to everything!"

"Having worried that I should have stayed in Luderitz, when I visited that town, I was seriously glad that we had opted for Klein-Aus Vista. Lodge is very pleasant and our cottage was comfortable and well appointed. Food and service were excellent - I had a fabulous kudu steak. "

"A stunning location. Amazing view from a rustic chalet. Highly recommended. Bring your own food if you can. You can cook and even make a bbq at the chalet. We were at The Wall. We loved the yard at with Adirondack chairs at the back of the rock; well protected from the wind by rocks with a great view on the Mount. We highly appreciated the setup of the dining table in the chalet. Bathroom is a bit basic. Remember it’s rustic rather than luxurious."

"A beautiful hotel, set in a lovely position. The staff are friendly and attentive. Kevin was brilliant ( porter, car washer, and seemed to know everything) Mikael in the restaurant was brilliant to. In the bar Pepie ( sorry not sure how his name was spelt) he was helpful and friendly too."
