"Quirky, delightful motel in the middle of nowhere but able to provide nearly all modern comforts. Only thing missing was a tv in the room but I didn't miss it. Restaurant was excellent. Beds were very hard. Good hot shower. Having visited Ai Ais, I was very glad we were staying at the Roadhouse."

"This place exceeded our expectation. The owner Andre is the most amazing host, and together with his staff made our stay very memorable. The farm is huge and has an abundance of both domestic and wild animals. We learned so much on our drives through the farm! Andre always had cool drinks in his vehicle so we could stay hydrated in hot weather - very thoughtful! "This is a wonderful place with breathtaking scenery and views. I could have spent days just looking and enjoying the peace and quiet. The breakfast and dinner was very tasty and they even considered that we are vegan. Their reforestation project is grandiose as well as what they do with the income. We enjoyed the time very much."

"Having worried that I should have stayed in Luderitz, when I visited that town, I was seriously glad that we had opted for Klein-Aus Vista. Lodge is very pleasant and our cottage was comfortable and well appointed. Food and service were excellent - I had a fabulous kudu steak. "

"A stunning location. Amazing view from a rustic chalet. Highly recommended. Bring your own food if you can. You can cook and even make a bbq at the chalet. We were at The Wall. We loved the yard at with Adirondack chairs at the back of the rock; well protected from the wind by rocks with a great view on the Mount. We highly appreciated the setup of the dining table in the chalet. Bathroom is a bit basic. Remember it’s rustic rather than luxurious."
