"First of all, Pan Pac Suzhou (吴宫) is definitely worth the price. The scenery within the hotel premise is really fantastic, tranquil and serene. Makes you feel like you just stepped into a majestic chinese mansion. Breakfast buffet was so super good ! We had lunch at the Haitianlo restaurant, the food was very nice and affordable! "They allow SMOKING in this property. We have asked for non smoking rooms and when we went to our room, it was smelling smoke. We went back to talk to the receptionist and we saw someone smoking in the corridor. They have ask trays by the elevator door. We went to complain but they said nothing they can do. Do not stay here if you want a smoke free place "

"The hotel was very spacious and quite, and has a great location next to the lake. If you like to take morning walks with a nice view of the gardens and lake, it is perfect for you. The only problem I had was, it was hard to communicate with everyone at the hotel, specially when no one speaks English!
