Das Ryokan ist beim Tsunami zum großen Teil zerstört worden, doch alle haben gemeinsam angepackt und schon nach kurzer Zeit ist das Hotel neu aufgebaut worden. "It is a great ryokan for its value. The staffs do not speak English but they are friendly and helpful but there are English written instructions in the rooms. The bath are okay. There are indoor and outdoor baths"

"Although not within close proximity to train station, which is what we'd have preferred, the hotel is just a short walk from a bus stop - there are two buses that can bring you there from the Miyako train station. Buses run regularly during the day - be sure to grab a bus schedule at the train station or the tourist information center situated right next door. "Very convenient if you have a car, but staff REALLY does not speak any English. That said, they do really try hard to help! Very friendly."
