"I had a great stay at the Baross City hostel. It felt safe because you had to buzz in to get upstairs. It was also conveniently located next to a bus stop and metro stop. The room was super cute and just what I needed for getting some rest. "

"The hotel feels stuck in the 80s. Decor of the whole place is fairly grim. Rooms are big but we had no working fridge, tea or coffee making facilities or functioning air con. The air con turned on but sure as hell didn't do much and mostly smelled of cigarettes. As it was 35 degrees outside that was the major disappointment. Also the fuse box in the room tripped at least 2 times a day so we plunged into darkness randomly. On the plus side, the shower we had was good and when we got a fan from...

"The hotel was a very nice relaxing spa hotel. They cleaned everyday and it was all spotless, although they didnt replace tissue when it finished and gave a stingy 2 teabags. Some of the receptionist and people In the breakfadt hall were very friendly whilst thete were 1 or 2 who were not very helpful which was frusyrating. "

"Short stay for a few days to visit and catch up with friends. I have staged at Agape before a few times and I'm always impressed by the apartments. I return on a regular basis because they are high quality and are central for me."

"Clean and quiet with good-sized rooms. Not sure where the food complaints came from in other reviews. Breakfast was great with eggs, meats and breads. Coffee could be personalized out of a single cup serve machine with a variety of lattes and espresso based options. Front desk was efficient and helpful. If I have one suggestion, the pillows could be better but great stay."

"A really warm welcome, the owners were so helpful and informative. Balatongyrök is quiet but there were plenty of restaurant options available. The hotel is well situated and the service is really good."
