"This is an amazing place to stay if you're coming to Colmar for the Christmas market. The hotel is right on the main street where the market is held, but it's very quiet when the windows are closed. The rooms are historic but have been modernized, and are a special treat for folks from the USA who don't have regular access to this kind of special experience. Highly recommended!"

"Very comfortable hotel next to train station, great breakfast and snacks in lobby. Only a short walk to the old town section and the Christmas markets. Very friendly, helpful service, nice lobby to relax in."

"Super location, older character style properly right on the main square. Very helpful stuff. However rooms are dated and beds uncomfortable. We booked superior room which was very basic. I can only imagine what standard rooms are like. Toilet and bathroom are separate across the room which was not good having to go across to wash your hands after using toilet facility. Breakfast was very basic and not worth the money. Plenty of eating places just outside so don’t bother paying for it. Overall 4...

"Unfortunately it was quite noisy - we are used to the counryside but we should have guessed as it was very convenient for the tourist areas. Very helpful staff."

"The property was much better than expected. The facilities, location and charm made this a truly memorable stay. Lucie went out of her way to help us since there were some road closures due to the Christmas Markets. She answered all our questions, gave a quick tour of the property and offered suggestions on the local restaurants. Would definitely stay here again!!"

"Being able to stand in the Gite and lean out the window right into the Main Street of Riquewihr was something out of a fairy tale. The room is very nice, well equipped, beds were comfortable. There is a very steep interior staircase leading up to the second floor, for which I had to keep a close eye on my toddler but the keypad access was very convenient and like I said the location is unbeatable. "This was a last minute reservation and the hotel was very accomodating. We ordered a triple room and they offered us a double and single for same price. Quite a walk from the Christmas market; but, we had been walking all day, so it wasnt an issue. The train station was across the street so that would be very convenient for some. I loved our balcony!"
