"Very tranquil location by the lake, great break from the stress of the city. Can go hiking up the mountain or biking along the river. Hotel will lend the bike for free. Warm and accommodating staff. Best to get a lake view room. Classic decor. Rooms are clean too. Three floors no elevator. While the hotel has a picturesque lakeside restaurant that serves Chinese and some Western food for lunch and dinner, there're a lack of shops and restaurants in the area. Guests will have to go to the city...

They catered to our every need and offered excellent care from before arrival through departure. The resort is perfectly situated in the scenic part of Yangshou and just a few km from downtown (which is easily accessible by bike or free shuttle van. The rooms are new, modern, comfortable, and spacious. We are excited to go back Moon Villa and can't recommend it enough!"
