The areas itself is ok, it's near a tram stop into the centre of Basel and within close enough proximity to local amenities such as the Co-op to stock up on some essentials for cooking. "It was fine but I wouldn’t call it 4* given that the beds weren’t made up and we had to throw our rubbish away at the end. pool didn’t look so clean but water was warm. "

"This is the second time we have stayed here and can highly recommend it. The hotel itself is lovely and clean with a buzzy hotel bar which is lovely in the summer. The hotel is also very dog friendly and is perfectly located just around the corner from restaurants and shops. "
