"Had a fantastic start to our holiday in France here. Loved the warm welcome, stylish rooms, great pool and short stroll into Villeneuve-lès-Avignon. Felt immediately rested and calm in the hotel, lots of dining options nearby and very safe in the area."

"Incredibly beautiful place in an unexpected discovery that we were staying in an ancient fortress of an ancient city. Could not ask for more in such conditions, where everything was ancient in the city but everything in the hotel was modern. Small room, but incredibly quaint, and the bathroom was glorious, shower was incredible, water pressure and temperature perfect. "We received a friendly welcome. We arrived early but were able to leave our bags and go and explore the fabulous walled city. We had room 29 which was on the 1st floor and overlooked the beautiful garden. We enjoyed a swim in the pool and a dip in the jacuzzi. Dinner was well presented a very tasty. Great breakfast. The bedroom was very spacious and comfortable. The decor throughout was very tasteful and right for place. "

"Beautiful room, lovely grounds, desk staff and dining servers were amazing--great for dinner. But don't yell at the guests for using a wine glass for a juice glass when you have no other drinkware available. The dining service manager was rude, pushy and she did not hestitate to come over to our table and scold me like I was a child. I'm 60. If I want orange juice, I'll use whatever drinkware is available, and if that's a wine glass, so be it. I'm a guest, not your employee. "

"Great place to stay in Villeneuve-les-Avignon! Old school French charm with a great location. The hotel staff was exceptional. Only downsides we're bed (very hard) and breakfast needed more options to merit the extra cost. We will return! "

"Nice hotel, though we only used it for sleeping. Didnt have breakfast as there were plenty of places for petit dejeuner close by. Could have done with better lighting on second staircase, quite dark in places. Good location, though noisey at night if you have windows open."
