"The staff is very hospitible and the included breakfast will provide plenty fuel you for your adventures. Located one street back from the lake close to the areas top Chinese restaurants and a street back from some of the more luxurious hotels in the area. I stayed in a room with a large bed and two large windows with a good view of the Peace Pagoda to the south and Sarangkot to the North West. Even better view from the rooftop. "Our family of 3 stayed here 3 days before our trek and a few days afterwards as well. Spotless room and grounds. Great breakfast. The garden sitting and terrace area is what sets this apart from many places, as it is amazing and gives everyone a very nice place to relax. Hot showers and good wifi. Family-friendly for sure and if one looks, you can play with the family dog or cat as they are wandering about. Less than 2 minute walk to Lakeside road. "
