"I have been staying at this hotel for many years as I worked in Belgium and wanted to introduce my friends to the wonders of Flanders food & super hospitality. Housekeeping and particularly the staff that run the restaurant are fantastic, they work so hard and cannot do enough for you to feel at home regardless how exceedingly busy they are. Unfortunately this hotel has change hands and this came apparent during our stay. The new owners have not got a clue how to run a hotel. Check-in took...

"Our stay was pleasant overall, the spa is excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed swimming outside under the stars. The hotel rooms are slightly outdated and although we had booked a room which was listed as having a separate bath we ended up having to pay extra for a room with a bath, which was disappointing. The staff were helpful and friendly and the view of the garden from the room was very nice! "

There is a supermarket just 2 doors away "ah" = Albert Heijn The room we had 582 was magic, a window opening to the main square and such beautiful views of the church and 50 metres from the main street with hundreds of shops there and in every side street. "Property is fantastic, especially the lobby is like a modern art gallery, very lovely family running the hotel, kind, welcoming, chatty and very polite. The only point for me, there is no fridge or caffe or tea machine in the room, although there is one in lobby, Also for families with young children, there was some business around that may be not pleasant, to be seen by children. There us a big shopping store next to hotel which is nice. "

"We paid extra for a room on the terrace. Its was grubby, bedding smelt and badly needed airing and there were horrible stains on the side of bed and wall - some looked like dried blood - yuk! Our door opened immediately out onto a table - part of the restaurant. The restaurant is busy at lunch time and evening -and so noisy until midnight and beyond. Not want we thought we were buying! "
