"Had a great stay... only down side being we were only there for 2 nights Lovely hotel, with very friendly staff. Rooms great and well appointed.Great setting and relaxing after or before safari. Only bit of advice is dont go too late for breakfast or buffet evening meal, as its all been hoovered up. Would recommend and if we find ourself in same area again, will re book. "

"The staff here go above and beyond, the ‘glamping’ experience was great. Food was really nice but quite expensive. The safari company run joint with the camp was amazing and extremely well run. The downside to this accommodation is that I would say it is only accessible via tuk tuk or car it’s not in walking distance to shops / other restaurants. "

"The property is ideal for the Udawalawe park safari. The host and the staff are really friendly are really friendly and polite. The food is amazing,fresh made every day. It can be done without having much spices,if you are not a fan of spices. You are in a corner of paradise with a lot of fauna. We have absolute loved it. The only small downside was the shower that didn't have hot water and water pressure was weak."

"Such a lovely little place to stay for the night. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. The staff were so kind and lovely, the home cooked food was some of the best we’ve had in Sri Lanka. They also arranged a safari for us, we had a jeep to ourselves, and saw many animals (elephants, monkeys, mongoose). All in all a fabulous experience, and incredible value for money. "

The owner was able to arrange our safari, taxi and trip to the Elephant Transit home. All very close by. Excellent communication. They organised for me to share a morning safari with another couple who were staying there - this way we all saved money and it’s better for the environment. I really appreciated this! Our guide for the Safari “Parera” was fantastic! He made sure we were the second Jeep in the park, and drive quickly but safely and professionally. "Unfortunately I am not able to review Dil Lanka Safari Resort, because when we arrived, the manager was very surprised to see us and said that he had no booking from us (three people, two rooms). Ultimately it was resolved (with help from our Sri Lankan driver) and we were given our money back (booking was prepaid). The grounds looked nice, so you could take your chances, but make sure you do nót prepay your reservation."
