"Opinion of an American expat male. 1. Service: Staff very helpful in helping a new tourist get around Sri Lanka. Breakfast was hearty. If you're unfamiliar with Sri Lanka, do yourself a favor and book the hostel's airport shuttle service. 2. Room was spacious, clean, with working AC, 24-hour wifi, bottled water provided. "The staff was extremely helpful and welcoming and accommodating to our needs. We enjoyed our stay very much. Would have been great if the surrounding neighborhood was in better shape especially looking down from the roof top pool."

"While Ashan and his mother were helpful, I cannot recommend this location. The bed was a combination of slippery mattress and too small unfitted sheets, which made them impossible to keep in place. There is no AC, only fan..it's hot..only cold water shower.,no tv... It should be rated 1-2 stars"

"Great to be met at the airport by the owner, no stress about finding the place, friendly chat. Room was disappointing noticed the smell of cigarette smoke on walking in and never got away from it. I booked a NON smoking room. Location quite central, despite the high level still heard all the horns and caught the sunrise as there were no block-out curtains. Sockets were type G (UK) but kitchen appliances were type D. We were probably supposed to unplug the fridge to plug in the kettle. Drawer of...
