"Fantastic old house in Santa Clara a couple of blocks from Parque Vidal. Room was spacious with comfortable beds, Big bathroom with great shower and plentiful hot water. Good internet Delicious breakfast served in the pretty courtyard with pretty fountain and lots of plants. Everything spotlessly clean. The owner is really helpful and lives onsite. What more do you need?!? Highly recommend."

"The property is stunning, high ceilings, frescos, arches and columns. The furniture matches the property, it's a joy everywhere you look. Staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. They speak excellent English and there's someone there 24 hours. Breakfast was fresh and tasty, eggcellent omelettes. It's a very small boutique hotel that's a block over from the main square. The road isn't noisy but it's 'lived in' so there are comings and goings as you would expect from somewhere where people live and work. Nights were quiet. I liked feeling I was experiencing a little bit of day tonday Cuban life."

We could barely have gotten along without their assistance in booking a flight and getting Internet access. Note that currently, bring dollars or euros to pay them and anything else. "It was a nice place but access was an issue for me. Due to the power outages in Trindad the owner locked the front doors early and did not provide a key. It did feel like a home stay with limited privacy. The owners were super nice and helpful "
