We are so grateful we chose this hotel as the staff was exceptional and so helpful, the room very comfortable, the spa was a nice addition and it's in a perfect location. "About 10 minutes by foot to the old centre. Breakfast was excellent and the room clean but a little dated. Underground car parking good would stay again."

"In a quiet area within easy walking of city centre, beaches, local shops. Could have been better if there was a bit more information about getting around eg buses, ferries, bikes etc. Staff always polite. "

"Great location right on the harbor and loads of restaurants. Easy walking everywhere. Elevator only started on 2nd floor but staff were very helpful about carrying my heavy bag up and down to it. Comfy room. Slept really well. Didn’t do hotel breakfast as there are plenty of other cheaper options just steps away. "

"First time to La Rochelle - had to use a public car park but it's just a street away. Off season so a skeleton staff - friendly and good English- but tiny part-time bar and expensive breakfast we didn't try. Had a nice terrace over looking a garden that was a touch... post apocalyptic- but it was quiet and the room we had all we needed. Lovely spacious building and very nicely located."

"This is one of our favourite hotels and was our fourth time staying there. The location is excellent- right in the centre of town- but peaceful. The staff are v friendly and helpful; great breakfast; on site parking which is particular helpful in La Rochelle. A wonderful spa. Generally a lovely place to relax"
