"The cottage was a lovely place to stay. The property was very quiet and presented exactly as the listing described. We had everything we required and everything was clean and tidy. The pool area was lovely. There wasnt really anything in the village but the nearest town was only 10 or so minutes away. There was a supermarket and petrol station and a market. Was definitely somewhere i could return too. The hosts were lovely as well and sorted any small problems we had quickly. All in all would...

"The property was just what we wanted as a base in La Flotte to discover Ile de Re. It was clean, quiet and in easy reach of the town and harbour. Most other villages were easily reached on cycles hired from our excellent host Jean Michel. Merci beaucoup!!"

"Weather good , location more isolated than we expected. No restaurants or supermarkets nearby. Why is it necessary to give an hours notice to use the pool? Pool and garden excellent. Think the accommodation would be stretched for a party of 8."

"We absolutely loved our beautiful bungalow with our own terrace and fenced garden. Very private, clean and perfect for a family of four. The kids play area is a wonderful addition and the site is also very close to the beach. Warm and friendly welcome by the owner. A perfect location to stay."

"Lovely place. Loads of space for us 4 families to spread out across the 2 separate houses. (Handy to put the teens in the end one on their own). Weather was very hot so we really appreciated the pool, the shade of the walnut tree and the Bluetooth speakers. A couple of extra parasols would have been great, but we managed fine. "We had a wonderful week. Communication beforehand was great and nothing was too much trouble. If youre looking for bright lights and busyness this is not it - though its only a car journey away. The pool about a minute's walk down the path was beautiful. The cottage was clean and contained everything we needed. Would return."

"Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans le logement de Fabrice. Nous avons apprécié la climatisation surtout lors des quelques jours de fortes chaleurs. Nous avons pu nous reposer au calme et profiter du barbecue. Les jeux, surtout le jeu de fléchettes, ont été fort appréciés par les enfants. La région est sympathique à découvrir."

"Bon rapport qualité/prix. Propriétaire agréable, cependant la propreté du logement n'était pas optimale et la piscine était vraiment froide alors que c'était la raison principale de notre réservation, mais nous nous y sommes baignés au début seulement et pour la suite nous sommes allés à la plage car l'océan nous semblait moins froid. Dommage. Sinon on a bien profité du court de tennis en famille, et l'environnement est très calme. "

"Many thanks, Jill and Phil, for a lovely week in Lamberniere. The gîte location is both beautiful and peaceful. Plenty of walks in the Cognac vineyards on the doorstep. Especially loved the gîte grounds, including the pool, playing table tennis and boules!"

"Beautiful cottage with everything you need. Use of grounds and pool. Very friendly, helpful, hosts gave lots of advice on things to do and places to visit and nothing was too much trouble. Enclosed garden to the cottage so our dog could be let off lead. Peaceful location, we had a great stay, thank you Jill and Phil."
