"The location is fantastic, the house is relaxed and comfortable--it makes you feel like you are relaxing. There were sand fleas on the beach which ate us right up for the entire week--maybe this was just a fluke for this time of year? Nice stay."

"This was a perfect location for our stay. The bedroom layout is great for two couples, or two singles. The bedrooms are at separate ends of house and each has its own full bath. The beds were very comfy! The kitchen is well equipped, but we don't really like to cook on vacay, so opted for late lunch out somewhere every day, with light breakfast and snacks for dinner. There is a nice grill on back deck. The view from front deck is beautiful! We pulled the chaise lounges up from the middle deck and enjoyed sitting outside and watching the incredibly blue ocean. The gorgeous pink sand beach is just down some steps and we only saw someone else on beach once! It was very windy while we were there, so most of our beach-sitting time was spent on the west side of island (sooo many beautiful beaches to choose from!). We really appreciated having fold-up beach chairs and ice chests available to take in car or down to beach with us. Plenty of beach towels available for use. When the sky is clear, the stars are amazing...super bright and they seem so close! We don't get that living in the city. Internet was great. Heard lots of stories about it going down a lot on the island, but we only lost it once for a short time. Governors Harbor area was perfect location for us...very central for exploring north/south. Well-stocked grocery store in town. Barb was great. She responded quickly and answered any questions we had. We would definitely stay there again."

"We have been to Eleuthera before and loved the island. Nothing prepared us for the sheer beauty of this location. The house exceeded our expectations, from the moment we walked in. Philip is a true gentleman, and the house was full of fresh flowers when we were warmly welcomed. I am the cook and wanted for nothing in the kitchen. The view was beyond imagination. We enjoyed watching the sea life and the sunsets. The house was spotless and appointed nicely. There is no TV which is a blessing, my wife and I got reacquainted and had a great time playing gin at night. Gregory Town has everything you need. The 7 to 11 has a good selection of groceries as well as gas. Unca Gene's has wonderful lunches. We explored all the beaches we could find, I couldn't choose a favorite, but Receiver's is certainly at the top of our list, as well as the Airport/Navy beach on the Atlantic side. "

"This off grid place was amazing, the ability to have a fire on the beach in the evening was spectacular. The photos matched the property as did the description. Given that it was cooler due to winter time having hot water would have made it perfect but the tenants were very clear that it wasn’t available. Honestly the people in the neighboring town were not very friendly and that was disappointing. The only significant recommendation we have for the place is to clean up the trash for appearance and the broken glass in the beach area. "

"The care that is taken by team that owns and operates both the hotel and restaurant is excellent. The rooms are well appointed and the cafe / bar food service and ambiance are exceptional. "

"Property was a perfect home base for our week in Eleuthera! Spacious for our family of 4 and felt very private. Central location close to GH and convenient to restaurants, beaches and retail. Multiple power outages during our week and appreciated the generator for backup. Would consider again if our travels bring us back to the area!"

"We thoroughly enjoyed this private small cottage surrounded by inspiring ocean views and so close to the Triple TLC General Store where we found many necessary items for our fridge. The front porch restaurant is great and nearby. Hosts were accessible and helpful. "
