"This hotel is located just outside of the town center. It is about a three minute walk to the middle of Tropea. The hotel is very nice and well-maintained, it has a large pool and is very quiet."

I showed them the listing on Hotels.com, which had no surcharges listed, except for dinner. They insisted that beach and pool cost extra. "This feels like a business travelers hotel. It was a pit stop for us on our trip and it served this function well. The breakfast was really nice with a lot of tasty diverse choices."

"We had an amazing stay! Checked in a little late in the afternoon and pool was closing, but they made an exception and allowed up to enjoy the pool. Drinks on the pool deck were amazing! The beach club was fabulous and food was great! We were treated like royalty! Truly impressed and will definitely visit again! Scalea has beautiful beaches and now one of our favorite spots! "
