"The hotel was well positioned, close to all amenities. The rooms were clean but most of the lights didn’t work; though it was fixed later when reported. We checked in very late but the lady in the desk was very nice and accommodating. Over all a very nice experience. "

"Hotel is as advertised, in need of renovation but we always had the pool to ourselves and apartment was very spacious. So if you are on a budget and after a no frills place to stay in central Cairns I highly recommend. "

"Our stay was amazing the pool was excellent, pool furniture could do with an upgrade but clean and plentiful. The staff were amazing at every level. The rooms were older style but clean With amazing ocean view. Great buffet breakfast. Would definitely come back again. "

"Staff very helpful on arrival room generally good in need of a bit of TLC only small things easilly sorted. Shower not great had to hold the shower head by copper tube. Requested early morning call didnt get one was awake any way. Great location for restaurants shops walks etc pick up for trips round corner at pacific hotel not always made clear."
