"The desk staff was very helpful and let us shorten our stay a night due to a change of plans despite our having to deal with Expedia. Our suite on the 3rd floor was very clean, quaint and comfortable as is the rest of the hotel, and it was great having a smart tv to watch Netflix at night. I would give it 5 stars but my wife was disturbed by trains at night which could be heard, I slept through the noise and we were offered a different room when she mentioned it at the desk, which we declined,...

"The host family is kind and generous. They worked very hard to make us feel welcome. Our room was lovely with twin beds made up as a king; it had a bunk bed that we did not use. As in most of the places we stayed, wifi was slow; I used my cell phone data instead. Their breakfast was wonderful, with way too much delicious food, served in a lovely setting."

"We stayed at Stella Casa Bono while we looked around at areas in Abruzzo for a possible holiday house. The staff was so friendly and so helpful. We stayed in the junior suite with the balcony, clean, comfortable, and easy to get around the historic area of Sulmona. Breakfast each morning was wonderful and lots of help while we were there. I would strongly recommend this bed-and-breakfast."

When we got there, the hotel is actually right on the center close to shopping centres and churches. It is very modern and has great facilities. We were able to explore the town on foot.
