"Incredible location. You step out the door and you're right in the heart of town. There was plenty of room for our family of 5 and the apartment was very modern and clean. Parking is a couple blocks away but it was an easy walk through the pedestrian alleys. We were blown away by the charm and beatiful setting of Desenzano. "

"The spa facilities were very nice. I wasn’t aware there was a charge to use the facilities. That’s ok, but guests can’t get access to spa and until 3:00 in afternoon and must book it for 3 hours. I like morning soaks or at least at my convenience, not the hotel’s."

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone. We walked to and from the train station and caught the ferry just opposite the hotel to Sirmione. Loved the area loads to eat and drink or just wander up to the castle. Book this place with a view you will be very happy"

"Very nice hotel in a beautiful central location close to the ferry port and with a view of the lake. It is a ten minute walk from the train station. The rooms were comfortable with all the expected facilities. Breakfast had a wide range of continental choices as well as scrambled eggs and bacon. The coffee was excellent. There are a wide range of bars, restaurants and shops close by. If I were visiting Desenzano in the future I would have no hesitation in staying at Hotel Tripoli. "

"The good: convenient location. The not so good: uncomfortable bed, broken lock on patio door so couldn't secure the room, no trash can in room, quite difficult getting in/out of shower due to bidet location. Consider this a budget hotel."
