"The hotel is very nice...nice restaurant.. excellent breakfast..easy parking and good value for money..as we took a small dog with us we were placed in a double room in an annexe of the hotel..the first room smelt of damp and clearly needed renovation but after complaining we were given a much better room albeit in the same annexe. .. Overall we would gladly return."

"Restaurant not open Monday and Tuesday, but apart from that the room was clean and well presented, and the staff/owners are extremely friendly and helpful. I would happily use The Renishaw again."

"We couldn’t believe how lovely our room was and how close it was for exploring the town - we had an amazing time in Matlock and our accommodation was a major part of our rating. We will definitely be going there again and have already recommended it to our family and friends."

"It would be nice to have rooms with more shelves and places to put things in the bathroom. I realize it's not always practical for one night stays but we were there for 4 nights so a bit more shelving would be nice. Carol was great on reception so a big thank you to her for her kindness. All the staff were great.😃 I'd be happy to stay again. Great location. "

"We took four rooms, all of which were very comfortable, and in great condition. My room was very clean. The hotel is situated in the middle of town with easy access to public transport, and the local bars/shops. The food was amazing. All of the food served was great quality, and incredibly tasty, and was amazing value. The staff were the best. Every single team member we met was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Thank you for duch a great stay."
