"It was a perfect getaway for a weekend. Within walking distance to Mt. Pisgah and its own dock access for Lake Willoughby. Couldn't have asked for more. I was actually surprised how well the kitchen worked. Only downside was thr shower was a bit small for a 6 ft guy."

"Absolutely charming little cabin for no more than 2 people and perfectly appointed. Beautiful, like something you would see in a travel magazine. Just about everything you need is already there: towels, kitchen supplies, cleaning supplies, grill, etc. The deck and grounds are well done with chairs and tables, a hammock is outside too. "As two women staying here by ourselves, this place made us uncomfortable. Wires were cut leading up to the hut (they said it’s been like that for 6 years but how would we know that?) and the lock was broken/tampered with so that it wouldn’t lock at all. Didn’t feel as it was worth it to call someone out as we were in the middle of nowhere and still felt unsafe on the property so we left to find a hotel."

"Our stay at the Spruce Cabin @ Woodshed Lodge was the perfect weekend away. The tiny cabin was adorable, and came with all the necessary accoutrements (kitchen, heaters, tv, wood stove, fireplace, king size bed). The management team was incredibly attentive and kind, and went above and beyond in ensuring we had all we needed for a memorable experience. Thanks so much team, we will be back! "

"We really enjoyed our time at the house. We were two familles of three with a dog and everybody was comfortable. The house is spacious, cozy, clean and has a big garden for kids(and dogs) to run about. It is well equipped. We also appreciated the jacuzzi after our days on the slopes and the discount tickets Asia had kindly left for us to use at the resort (ski and Pumphouse). We recommend for a group of 6 to 8 people."

"The property was great for our group of 4. Kitchen was well equipped, although toaster needs replacement. Bathrooms had lots of towels and dove soap/shampoo/conditioner. A few things we could have used were scissors and kleenex. The shower drains do need a cleaning as they filled up while showering to cover our feet and drained very slow. We did have an issue with beeping on our last night. It was a water sensor telling us there was a leak under the sink. We weren't sure how to shut the sensor...
