"Excellent premises at a one of the nicest locations in Mexico City. Zocalo is across the street, and there are plenty of restaurants, bars, stores, and other points of interest within a very short walking distance. There is a rooftop restaurant bar with magnificent views of the city, Cathedral and Zocalo. The building is beautiful and elegantly decorated. Friendly and welcoming staff. This was our first time staying there and we are looking forward to staying there again."

"This is the newer “suites” property, the hotel (which I stayed in a few weeks ago) is around the corner. It is perfectly fine in terms of cleanliness and comfort but entirely lacking any kind of atmosphere. (But do you need atmosphere?) the current closure of the metro line between Balderas and Observatorio does complicate transport somewhat - there are integrated shuttle buses running constantly, and the bus ticket covers the metro and vice versa. But obviously buses are subject to traffic...
