"I cannot say enough good things. The staff really made our stay. So friendly and welcoming. Especially Wai Yan (sp?) who made delicious happy hour drinks at the poolside bar. I feel like I made a new friend as we had several great discussions! The pool is beautiful and very quiet (we were there in low season - Feb) the breakfast was also incredible and so was room service. There was construction going on for a couple of hours every day which was very noisy at the pool. I wish I had known that...

"This is a good 5 star choice located on the Hyatt Regency beach strip. Really it is a competitor with the Hyatt but with much classier rooms - especially if you book the Impressive Suites and above. Some rooms have their own pool $$$. The service is terrific and, importantly, the aircon is adjustable. The family pool is not quite big enough in our view. And the hotel is on a very narrow block - unlike the sprawling Hyatt a few doors up. The service is impeccable and a great restaurant. Good for...

"The hotel is pretty nice. The kitchen/ breakfast stuff is slow and never delivers to the right table or in timely manner. Do not use any credit cards with them for deposit when checking in. It’s hard to get it back. They say they will contact the bank, but there is no proof that they will do it, so you have to trust them. Overall, it’s cheap because it’s next to a very busy road where you really don’t want to walk. "
