We always return, looking forward to next year
This is truly one of the best places we have ever stayed. The grounds are not only beautifully kept, but it is the most gorgeous place that warms your heart and grounds your soul. The colors of nature are so vivid that you feel like you are living in a picture. If you are looking for a place to recharge, this is exactly where you need to be. Each year it gets better and next year will be more amazing then ever. Thank you so much for sharing this place with us, we are truly grateful for that!

Great 3rd Stay!
This was our 3rd time staying at the Shasta hosted by Derrick and we all had an awesome time. We noticed a bunch of improvements to the property which were well thought out and contributed to the overall experience. The pizza oven was a lot of fun and produced some professional looking results. We had great weather and spent a bunch of time floating and exploring the river. Overall 10/10!

Another great stay in a beautiful spot!
We stayed at this property for three nights and had an excellent experience. The host had recreation items (including tubes for the river), outdoor kitchen with gas grill and gas pizza oven, and plenty of spots to sit, relax, and enjoy the property all set up when we arrived. He also had food and drinks in the refrigerator for us! The property is a beautiful spot right along the Little Delaware River. It is very private (we didn’t see another person for three days) yet located only about 8 minutes from Delhi, Bovina, and Andes, where there are restaurants and shops, and near plenty of trails for hiking. Although it’s definitely camping, amenities like electricity, grill, solar shower, super clean outhouse, comfortable bed, and all the recreation gear you could want make this a great place to stay. Thanks, Derrick, for quick and easy communication as well!

A magical glamping experience
We had a wonderful stay at this charming spot! The camper was cozy and perfectly set up, providing a delightful base for our adventures. Being right by the river was magical, and making pizzas in the outdoor pizza oven was a highlight—such a fun activity for us and the kids. Derrick, our host, was incredibly welcoming and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. His warmth and hospitality truly enhanced our experience. Our kids are already asking when we can come back. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with a touch of outdoor living. Thanks, Derrick, for everything!

We love this place!
This year we kayaked at the Pepacton Reservoir again. We like to visit breweries and distilleries, we visited several in Roscoe. We love the campsite, we will return again. There is so much to do there plus the quietness and intimate setting makes it the perfect vacation. The pictures do not do it justice, if you are an outdoor lover, you really need to consider staying here!

Until next time! (I wrote more but it was too many characters and I had to cut!)
I’d never used a “rent by owner” service, and was traveling alone with my three kids (8, 12, 15) and puppy. Reading the amazing reviews left me feeling a little skeptical - were these reviews legit?! I wasn’t even looking to vacation in this area but a suggestion came up on my screen while researching. I’m so glad I clicked, considered and put aside my hesitations. Truly a gem- the location, the most awesome, thoughtful and helpful host Derrick, the fun accommodations, the peaceful private setting, the chance to disconnect to connect and enjoy the last of summer before school craziness starts. I could never write enough or find words to convey how much we enjoyed our stay and how we left feeling. We arrived in the rain but Derrick and his daughter, Jessica, had obviously spent a lot of timing preparing the site for us. We were given a tour, tips and were told to be in touch with any questions, (which we did!) Nobody wanted to leave- tubing, catching fish/crayfish, kicking around the soccer ball, golf putting, cooking outside, fires, s’mores, reading in the hammock, so many stars (meteors!,) the camper, playing chase with the puppy through the paths, and board games, are some of the memories the kids left in the provided camping journal. There was sadness the morning of our departure, but the morning sky greeted us with a beautiful double rainbow after a stormy night. I think the kids got in the car only because instead of saying goodbye we said “until next time!”

This was our third time at Willow Park and it was just as amazing as the other times. Derrick is such a wonderful, thoughtful host. He made our stay so comfortable and made us feel so special. This beautiful place feels like our home away from home and we are so incredibly thankful to Derrick and Judy for sharing it with us. We can’t wait to be back in August!

Fantastic spot with all the amenities needed
This site is beautiful, surrounded by wildflowers and bordering the Little Delaware river. The camp site has everything you need to sit back and relax and is close to small towns and hiking. The camper is comfortable and clean with a great mattress. Derrick provided a full fridge and brief orientation to the property. Highly recommend!

Second trip for us!
Once again the trip was more than expected! This truly is an amazing experience and so enjoyable. Derrick added additional things to the campsite, which makes it even more awesome, if that is possible! Plus, the nice little surprises and personal touches he adds are so appreciated and made us feel so special. There are many places to sit and enjoy nature on the grounds. Make sure you bring a camera/phone when you walk around, there are such great pictures to be taken! The bed is extremely comfy and there are plenty of blankets to stay warm and an electric blanket. We went kayaking at Pepacton Reservoir, if you plan to bring your own kayaks, you need to get them cleaned before launching. We left them at the reservoir and locked them, they were fine all weekend. There is a distillery and a brewery in Roscoe. Golf and driving range right in Delhi. Super cute mini golf that Derrick recommended too, if you stay here, you need to visit it, it's only 10 minutes away. We will be back, since we found this place....we need to keep coming back. Thank you so much for having us!!

Our Catskills Trip with the Doggos
This time away from home was a great investment. This is how people should spend vacation! I felt like a little kid again where you don’t think about the outside world… you’re truly only thinking about the moment you’re in. The property truly felt like ours and brought us back to nature. Very little time was spent in the camper but was still just the perfect spot to lay your head after swimming hours in the creek with the dogs, Star gazing at night with the fire and naked sunbathing (yes, It is that private!). They have everything you may need for camping, and then some! From Derricks phone call before the stay, to Judy’s tour of the property when we arrived, and of course all the amenities provided, all just made this a very special trip. Beyond grateful to experience people that pay it forward in giving complete strangers amazing service, care and attention simply just to provide us with an experience we’ll love.

WOW!!
This camp is a true gem! We mostly tent camp so this was truly a “glamping” experience for us. Being able to have the camp experience without hauling around and setting up gear was wonderful(especially with a toddler!). Derrick is one of the most kind people you will ever meet, he goes above and beyond anything you’d expect. We spent our days playing (((floating, exploring, fly fishing and throwing rocks))) in the water and spent the nights watching the stars over our fire while eating s’mores. We’re still not sure who had more fun me, my wife or our almost 2 year old. Don’t think twice or you might miss your opportunity, because we’re definitely coming back!

This place was amazing. Our host Derrick was awesome and very helpful. One bit of information: if you are looking for a luxury spa, this is not the place for you. If you love being in nature, do not hesitate to book time here. This location is beautiful, it's quiet and very private. Get away from noise, the internet, TV and all the other distractions we deal with every day. Relax! We plan on returning next year, if not sooner.

Willow Park was the best decision I made for a 2 night R and R get away. The owner contacted me 3 days prior with info and for me to ask questions. Upon arrival he was making sure camp was set up to his standards and the fire pit was ready to fire up. The fridge had beverages for both adults and children. He left treats for our first night. The property itself is beautiful and private, 6 acres to yourself! Communication was open and response was quick for needs or questions. The scenic nature views as well as sunset and moon was not only beautiful but not what I would view on a daily basis at my home. The camper was great!! It was clean and ready to go. You have everything you need, towels, sheets, TP, paper towels and other odds and ends. Just bring what you will cook for meals. Inside was a bed for 2 adults with a mattress so much better than sleeping on the ground. I did sleep!!! There were more sleep accommodations available but I did not need it. It has a gas stove top, all utensils I needed with a microwave and Fridge. There was AC and heat if needed for night time. For me this is a must to do again!!!!

Amazing place on earth.
My husband and I spent 3 days in this beautiful spot. The land is gorgeous with views and right on the river, with east access to the road and yet feeling remote. The camper is well equipped. Outside we had a grill, a fire pit, table, chairs awaiting you to admire the views, a hammock begging for you to read or take a nap. Derrick is the most generous and thoughtful of host. He loves the place and does make sure you have the very best time. We could not really remember when we last felt that relaxed. We hope to soon find another opportunity to return.

Escape to nature
This was an amazing experience for our little family. We were looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of every day life. We loved the quiet and nature walks and it was a bit too cold for us to go swimming but our dogs loved trying to catch the minnows and running a muck. The trip is all we could ask for. We didn’t want to leave. Derrick was a great host and was very accommodating. He met us there to show us around and he left us a gift inside for us as well as our pups. Overall an amazing weekend and all we wanted for our getaway. We definitely will be going back.

If your looking to unplug and yet still have some amenities to make your “camping” a bit more comfortable this is the place to go to ! Process overview Derek called the day before the trip to confirm and give a general rundown of the property and what to expect upon arrival. His wife met us on the campgrounds and gave us a tour of the entire location and a general rundown of the items they have. Both are very nice people and amazing hosts. They left tears in the camper and the grounds were 100% ready tonuse campgrounds overview The campgrounds are absolutely beautiful. It is completely private. There are little paths to litter areas to enjoy the beauty and nature around you. There is a stream that is not only beautiful but refreshing to go in. The property is maintained extremely well. Camper and amenities overview The camper is an absolutely adorable retro gem. The hosts graciously leave little treats like s’mores making items, hot chocolate, fruits and more. Absolutely everything you need is provided including dishes, utensils, coffee maker, electric grill, charcoal grill , campfire items and more. They even left some treats for our dogs ! The camper was comfortable and warm. They provided blankets, pillows, towels and toiletries. The hosts also provided various entertainment items such as cornhole and rafters to float in the stream. There’s a hammock to lay and relax, various seating areas and a picnic table to enjoy our outdoor cooked meals There camper only has electric. There is no running water or gas in the camper, but the hosts have it all covered! There is a sunshoer and private bathroom. Plenty of water for use and fro king was provided. Everything you need is already there ! Overall experience This place is absolutely amazing. The hosts are truly one of a kind. The site is absolutely beautiful and peaceful. I would highly recommend this site if your looking for a good Glamping spot. My husband and I are already planning our next trip back.
