"With easy access to surrounding areas, the gîte is in a great position. The gîte itself situated at the back of the property, was quiet and private. Our hosts were very helpful, providing ideas on sights to visit. We enjoyed our stay very much. "

"We had a lovely stay at this wonderful home. We did a lot of research to get someone that had the feel of the area with character and charm and this home definitely nailed that. Very homely, traditional decor and furniture but all the necessities inside and outside the house you would need. Amazing views from the house/balcony was a real highlight, the best from all we looked at. House was clean, all practical things thought of with towels, linen, kitchen equipment.Nicole very kindly kept the pool open for us even though it was the last week of October and with sun every day with 23/24C it was much used! One thing to note - the location on VRBO map has the house in central Sarlat but it’s not, the listing rightly says it’s 3.5k outside Sarlat, so not sure why the map location is different. Also we wanted to be south of Sarlat near the Greenway cycle route and so we asked which side of Sarlat it was and were told by Louis, the booking assistant, that it was north of Sarlat and so we don’t book for the first few weeks of exploring but upon deciding to book anyway, discovered that it’s actually dead west of Sarlat which was better for us in the end. Otherwise all the communications were great and Nicole the host was amazing and helpful with lots of things and wanting to make our stay comfortable. We hope to visit again for sure!"

"This is a beautiful house with 5 bedrooms and 2 kitchens it can obviously be divided into 2 smaller houses but our two families had the entire house. The kitchens are extremely well equipped and we liked that there were some things in the cupboard like coffee and salt and herbs along with dishwasher tablets and hand soap. The only downside was that there was one A/C unit that plugged into the hall and was not very effective, the upstairs bedrooms beside the kitchen were unbearably warm with temperatures through the night around 26°C, there were fans in the 2 larger bedrooms. However Brigitte and Fabrice were very good hosts, and the house and pool are amazing, they even bought new pool noodles for our teenagers. The pool area is fantastic and very clean and the loungers are very comfortable. The outside areas and bbq were great and the table tennis was a big hit. The town is a short drive away, it is quite a steep road and not suitable for walking to town, but there are so many sites within a 30 minute drive, we had an amazing holiday."
