"This is a very pleasant place. It is tastefully decorated and the bar offers a lovely space to grab a drink or a coffee at the end of the day. The breakfast area is elegant and overlooks the green back garden. My room was underground. It wasn’t dark but I could hear the cars that parked nearby and people walking on the road. However since this is a generally quiet area, this was not a major problem. The shower cubicle in my room needed maintenance because the water did not drain well. Otherwise...

"Stayed for one night en route. Comfortable and clean. Furnishings in the room adequate. Good, hot shower. It was bitterly cold and the duvet and pillows were a bit thin and “tired” so we were a little cool. Good breakfast and helpful staff. Advice from a previous guest to have a room at the back of the property was useful as it was quiet. "

"Not a bad hotel but a shame breakfast was accompanied by the pinging of the microwave and that the ‘pastries’ were some pretty uninspiring cheap looking croissants. I appreciate we stayed there on Boxing Day but I’d still expect slightly better breakfast. "
