We were using a gift token for the wine tasting in the village thus the reason for the stop over due to the location. Hotel staff very friendly and welcoming. "Patrick and his wife were very welcoming, the property is dated but comfortable and clean and very reasonably priced. The surrounding area is a short walk away, with some nice pubs, restaurants (with gluten free options), shops and a Tesco etc... The only thing that would have improved our stay would have been some comfy chairs or small sofa in the room as I personally struggle watching TV in bed, due to health issues, but other than that it was a pleasant stay."

"Stayed here for 2 night's in June and loved it, the place is warm and welcoming, the bed was massive and comfy with plenty of toiletries in the bathroom. Shower was easy to use and very clean, definitely stay here again. Breakfast was freshly cooked and cooked how you like it, the host was friendly and veey helpful."

"This was a lovely home with gracious and helpful hosts, off-street parking and a fabulous garden right next door to a historic 14th century Norman church. Alistair gave us lots of very helpful information about beautiful local walks, along with excellent maps and detailed instructions. The village is great with several nice places to eat (again Tricia and Alistair gave us excellent advice), and a local bakery which will make you a packed lunch for your walks. We thoroughly recommend this B&B and...
