"Nyla & Tom Griffith(noted author) were wonderful hosts. Both provided great information on Deadwood, Mt Rushmore, and wonderful restaurants in the area. Nyla creates these very tasty breakfasts including a sourdough French toast and a frittata that are both delicious. The 1899 inn was both comfortable and spacious. Highly recommend staying here, and make sure to purchase one of Tom’s more than 3 dozen books about a variety of topics including My Rushmore."
