"I liked the property because the staff were very welcoming. I have been to many hotels where people are just there for a paycheck and I didn’t feel that at all at La Quinta. I was greeted warmly, no matter what time of day I approached the counter. I did have some mild complaints and questions, which the staff addressed promptly. I also had a gentleman by the name of John, who was serving Continental breakfast and they were out of biscuits and this man went in the back and made me biscuits so I could have it with my gravy. Very friendly and professional made a big difference in my stay. What I did not like is in the room that I was in on the second floor. The room appeared clean, but there was a random smudge in the middle of my bathroom mirror, which seemed really out of place. I made comment to the front hotel staff who took care of it when I left the following morning for errands. My other complaint, was that my sink water would run brown. This scared me, the front desk told me that when it rains or storms heavy in the area that there is sediment at the bottom of the water tank. So I just let the water run a couple extra minutes until it stops being brown. My last complaint about La Quinta was that despite the housekeeping refreshing my room for the mirror incident they did not sweep or mop my floor. Do not go, barefoot in the hotels always have socks or slippers on in your room. Floors irritated the soles of my feet."

"This is an older property but had a heated indoor pool that was kept up and was very affordable. The staff was friendly. We will probably stay here again in the future."

"How many 5 stars can I give? The cabin is perfect! The bed is so comfortable; the adjustable and massage features are a bonus. The kitchen is fully stocked and the house is decorated farm cute. The chickens were fun and we enjoyed farm fresh eggs for breakfast. Teresia and Larry are the best hosts we've had in our travel experiences. Very respectful and generous with their place. My husband and I stayed for 23 days visiting family. We had everything we needed and more. We had such a great time we've already scheduled our next visit at Christmas."
