We loved our time here and cannot recommend enough to stay here if you need a place to stay in the Brookings area. "

"We stayed here for a few days because of the location to family. The house was great. The kids left the other house and came here to play board games. The king bed is in an open space in the basement but is soft and incredibly comfortable. "

"Definitely ‘historic ’ older home. Very nice home for older kiddos and adults but not great for littles. The only bathroom is upstairs and main floor is offset through doorway (tripping hazard)"

"Really relaxing weekend getaway spot. Great walking trail at Lake Herman State Park. Our stay was great. Beautifully updated lake home with perfect amenities. "

"This cabin was perfect for our group and the 2 full bathrooms were a major plus! Bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. It rained a majority of our stay, but we were able to take advantage of both living areas and dining space. The host had even facilitated additional parking spaces, as well. Highly recommend."
