"Excellent location. Easy parking but with a daily 9 dollar fee. Clean. Nice gym. Easy walk to the beach when parked near the beach access. Not a problem to get a space end of April/early May when we went. Loved the beach. Took a ferry to Shackleford Island from nearby Beaufort and had a nice few hours on its secluded beach with the wild ponies roaming near. Brought lunch and chairs. Nice afternoon. Had dinner in Beaufort after. Ferry staff very helpful with recommending Beaufort dining options. Unit was clean and comfortable Appears to have had some updates. Three stars is accurate for the property —it gets a five star rating for its class. "
